Two row widths, one chassis lineup
The two customer sites had row widths that differed enough to rule out a single setting. Rather than ordering two unrelated models, the dealer used one narrow-chassis range with different axle and tire settings for each site.
Both settings were recorded on the measurement sheet along with the headland depth at each site. The sheet served as the reference for the quote and production order.
Validating fitment before the season
Sprayer and mower widths were verified against the clear row width, not the nominal working width. If a tank or frame overhung the row, the implement was swapped before placing the order.
This step eliminates the typical risk of delivery arriving after the spraying window has opened, when equipment cannot navigate between the vines.
Repeat order with validated configuration
The second batch reused the validated configuration, including tire settings and implement pairing. Dealers did not need to repeat measurements for the same customers.
For new customers with different row widths, the same measurement sheet applies to ensure consistent site comparisons.
