Why use machine packing
Mixed-box parts orders require time to sort and are prone to misfiling. Packing by machine list ensures each kit remains identifiable, allowing dealers to track inventory against the correct unit.
This practice also simplifies scenarios where multiple models are shipped in a single container. Each kit includes its machine reference, which is also reflected on the packing list.
What's in the kit
A standard kit includes filters, belts, and wear parts replaced during routine maintenance. Items are listed with part numbers, allowing dealers to reorder individual components without rebuilding the entire kit.
Dealers can expand the kit with items that sell quickly in their market. These additions are quoted separately and share the same machine reference.
Item numbers that remain stable
The item numbers associated with the machine are reused for repeat orders. This is critical for dealers maintaining computerized inventory records, as a changed number creates duplicate entries and phantom shortages.
When a part is superseded, the replacement number is issued alongside the old number, allowing existing records to be updated accurately without guesswork.
